in this post i am going to teach you about equal tee branch.
here we will take 10″ Header OD = 273 mm.
and will do it half = 273/2 = 136.5 mm.
next,
10″ Branch ID = 263 mm.
10″ Branch half ID = 131.5 mm.
Now we will use formula to calculate 45 degree Cutback
Header Half OD – √(Header Half OD² – ( Sin(∅) × Branch Half ID)²)
136.5 – √136.5² – ( Sin(45°) × 131.5)²)
36.56 mm Ans.
Next we will calculate for 90 degree cutback.
Header Half OD – √(Header Half OD² – ( Sin(∅) × Branch Half ID)²)
136.5 – √136.5² – ( Sin(90°) × 131.5)²)
99.89 mm. Ans.
