welded pipe manufacturing process :
- Pipe are manufactured from plate or coil.
- Plate or coil rolled in circular section to weld.
- Can be welded with or without filler material
- No restriction on large size.
- Weak in compare to seamless pipe due to joint
Welding Methods are used to weld the joints :
- ERW – Electric Resistance Welding.
- EFW – Electric Fusion Welding.
- HFW – High Frequency Welding
- SAW – Submerged Arc Welding
